Not to toot our own horns here too much, but our “Can’t-Miss Playoff Predictions” for the first round almost entirely lived up to their name. For the non-Devils series, we went 6-for-7 (stupid Flames…), and while we may not have correctly anticipated the tenor of most of those series, we at least got the outcomes right. (As for our Devils prediction, well, we did hedge our bets a bit and called a Lightning win, then waited until the Hockey Gods weren’t listening and switched it up. But we realize that’s cheating.) So we’re probably not overstating things when we say we are clearly hockey geniuses, and it makes a lot of sense for you to turn to us for a preview of things to come in the second round.
