Oh and Heather! I’m going to be in Buffalo next week! I was hoping to catch the Wings game but coming and going from Toronto got a little crazy and we didn’t get tickets so uh, maybe not. But I’m supposed to ask people who might know what’s up with their practices and stuff…I think. People are very vague.

And! What are you up to between the 2nd and the 5th? Maybe I could catch you somewhere :)

As for Forsberg, I was actually thinking last night, watching the Avs suck, that they looked like a team primed to scoop him up with a panic signing. I don’t think he’s going to help them much, but really they’ve got nothing to lose, since it’s only a one-year deal.

Not really, Matt, as I refuse to believe that Forsberg is capable of doing anything of any worth at all. I’ve never liked him as a player so I’ve pretty much ignored him since 2001. So, really, I fully put forth that I am not in any position to really be offering any opinion!

Steph, unfortunately I’m mostly house-bound until my next doctor’s appointment on the 7th. It’s very tough for me to get out by myself so I don’t know if I’ll be able to meet this time. I’ll let you know if that changes though!

I believe game day practices are usually at 10 at the arena but I’ll double-check the time for you.

(I am also supposed to relay the question, “And…you just…walk in to practice? And it’s fine?” You can tell my friend’s used to places like Detroit where “open practice” is totally unheard of.)

Hopefully. They were both there to get tested for urinary tract infections but the one has lost some weight and was a bit dehydrated so we ended up getting him a full checkup with blood tests and having them give him some fluids. I have immunosuppressed cats so we have to be super-careful.

Oh, it’s not a problem at all! It started at 7:30 so it won’t go final while this one is still going on. I figured there was no way to avoid the score! Not a problem at all. That’s a game that I really don’t mind if I know the score, anyway. We really only TiVoed it because there is literally nothing on TV after this game ends.
