Instead of the game MSG was showing The Sabres Show for like 20 minutes. I was frantically a-searching the interwebs for answers. I don’t like it when I’m denied my real Sabres in favor of Maria Genero.

Ugh, the Sabres are not in HD and the Kings/Devils game is, my eyes feel insulted when I switch back to the Sabres game.

They started the game about 3 minutes into it, we didn’t miss much I guess. Forunately (?) we got to see Vanek get a puck to the face and lose a tooth/break his nose/get a huge gash.

Harrington says there were TV transmission problems that lead to the delay. And also as an FYI, WGR.com is about a minute and a half behind the TV feed.

Considering I was ready to stick a fork in the boys at the start of the third period, escaping from Ottawa with a point is not a bad thing.

Hopefully everyone else’s games went well (or will go well) tonight.

I’m sorry Ookies and Patty but I’m really having a lot of fun watching the Kings this season. I decided that they were a great tertiary team because they’re so terrible. If they win “Woo!” if they lose “Meh.” I never expected them to be two points out of a playoff spot in February.
