You Call This A SPORT? This Is HORSESHIT!

We’ve been kind of down on hockey lately (for good reason), but something happened tonight that helped restore some of our perspective. You see, we had a baseball game on while killing time because there was nothing on television. And it was the 8th inning of what was looking like a blowout, but then the trailing team mounted a bit of a rally. The announcers then informed us, very gravely, that it was becoming a dire situation for the team with the shrinking lead because their stud closer wasn’t able to pitch tonight. And you know why he wasn’t able to pitch? Because he threw 35 pitches yesterday. Even hockey at its very worst is a billion zillion gajillion times better than baseball.

And that’s our story.
