“I realize a lot of fans get excited about the possibility of adding a Unicorn or a Pegasus to our club, but the fact of the matter is that they didn’t fit the needs of the organization. Every year we head into free agency and think about, first of all, ‘What does our team need?’ This year, we did not feel like we needed to go out and add a first line mythical horse. I’m pretty happy with the make-up of our club as it is. We’ve got a number of young guys down in Lowell who can make an impact next year. Bill the Pony, Trigger, My Little Pony, can all step in next year and really push some of our veterans for ice time.”

Carol, THAT. IS. AWESOME. I am SO jealous that you saw that at a baseball game! Every baseball game I’ve ever been to has been either deadly dull, or deadly dull combined with a three-hour rain delay. WOWZA! And I am so flattered that you thought of us when you saw it. *Blushes* :D
