Completely random thought: When I was a wee little mcguffers, I always wanted to go to Utica and watch them play the Newmarket Saints. Get it? Devils vs. Saints? I also thought it was very cool when the Sherbrooke Canadiens played the Rochester Americans in the playoff finals because there were more Americans playing for the Canadiens and more Canadians playing for the Amerks.

It’s been so very long since I’ve been on IPB. I really missed the hockey blogs :( [Heh. Patty, I have no idea what's been going on.] I’ve been an exchange student for the past summerish so I actually haven’t been anywhere to be exact (internet is really a bother).

Not to bring up Southpark twice in two days, but there’s an episode where the bus driver is stranded with the kids in the woods and the training video suggests she puts a gun to a bunny’s head and threatens it in order to calm the children down. I would kind of like to see Lindy put a rifle to a fuzzy bunny’s head and say, “Win this game or I kill the bunny.” Pommers would definitely try harder, but I think Staffy would challenge him.

Grrrreg, that’s awesome! And the beauty of it is, while the rest of the teams in the league are playing with a bunch of new rookies no one recognizes, the Habs will be playing with a whole new team no one recognizes!

Other than that, Montreal is great. I already knew the place (I spent 9 months there as an exchange student a few years ago), but it’s a real pleasure to be back here. The city is really fun, and the people are awesome (when they’re not burning police cars) This time, I also took the time to visit some parts of the city I had never been to.

I almost went to the habs training camp, but it’s in a suburb, and it’s a little complicated to get there without a car. I’m not quite ready to spend 2 hours in a bus just to watch a few drills…
