CON: When we try to psych each other up for the upcoming holidays, we know the entire jingle from the commercial for the Radio City Christmas Show by heart because we’ve seen those commercials so many times over the last 15 years.
CON: As soon as one of us sings the Radio City Christmas Show jingle, even just as a joke, even just to make fun of how much we’re jumping the gun by being psyched for the upcoming holidays already, that jingle becomes deeply, indelibly stuck in our heads.
PRO: We may have been singing the jingle as a joke, but it turns out it’s no laughing matter. When you’re a hockey fan, this is what you see during a 5 p.m. Rangers/Ducks game on MSG on October 11:
