Devils vs. Blues, 3/20/10: Food For Thought

Tonight we are heading up to Newark to witness the Devils/Blues battle royale in person, and also to enjoy the bottomless chicken fingers in the Fire Lounge. Since we won’t be around and don’t have chicken fingers to offer you, Gentle Reader, we will leave you with some food for thought instead. Guess what the oldest tree in the world (and heaviest living organism) is called? Why, Pando, of course!

That certainly is a minus. I do have some leftover lemon chicken sitting here, but quite frankly, it was crap. Last time I use *that* takeaway.

Oh man. Zach, just shut up. Heh. I love him saying it’s “unreasonable” for fans to boo the power play. I suppose they could start just booing the 5-on-5 all the time, too, if he’d prefer it. :P

Zach is remarkably good at remaining endearing while looking and sounding exactly like a whiny little kid.

“It’s not the power play’s fault every game we lose,” Parise said. “Everyone wants to point a finger. We didn’t score 5-on-5, either.

“We get booed every time we’re on the power play. I think it’s very unreasonable. We’re trying our best out there. It’s frustrating . They clear the puck and we get booed. I’m getting sick of talking about it. I thought our power play was good. We didn’t score, but that’s not the reason we lost.”
