Hey! We made it home before the Devils game started! WOO HOOO! It’s great to be safely ensconced back in the friendly confines of stately IPB Manor, with a growler of beer from Barley’s in Columbus, and some New Jersey pizza on its way to our house. Join us for an open thread while we soak in some hockey!

There’s a big split-rail fence around it, too, so it looks the part. It was pretty remarkable. And totally honestly, it was awesome when it was fired. I totally honestly want the Devils to get one. :D

I’m watching the Coyotes pre-game show and they have a regular feature called the Kid-Caster. They have a kid come in and interview one of the players and then hang out in the booth for a period. I think it’s adorable.

I was hoping they would clinch the playoffs by winning this game so we could see them all excited about it, but it’s still cool that they’ve already clinched with so many games left. I’m excited for them.

And that’s my Coyotes bandwagon story.

Heh. Sometimes no, sometimes yes. Fortunately, I’ve been not paying much attention to his gaffes on the point on the PP. And paying tons of attention to his dreamy defensive play at the end of tonight’s game that led to him selflessly setting up Rolston to get the empty-netter for his 700th career point. It was pretty good. :D
