Oh my goodness, that was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen! I just finished watching the game, I had managed to stay away from spoilers, this is so amazing.
I’m kind of speechless. I think it will be MUCH harder in the second round against Pittsburgh, but for now I’ll just fully enjoy this. It’s probably the most inspiring thing I’ve seen the habs do since I started following them 6 years ago. I don’t think I’ve ever watched them play with this much heart. It took me a lot of time to get used to this team after all the changes they made last summer, but now I love each and everyone of them.

I have looked at the teams left in the East and realized I have a problem. Can’t root for the Flyers, I just can’t. I have no interest in seeing the Pens advance, if they were to win again, it would mean another year of nothing but Sid worship (admittedly, we’ll probably get that anyway). I can’t root for the Habs, even though I still like Gio and I have no objection to most of the team, because it would mean rooting for Gomez.
I think that means I’m rooting for Boston by default because they are the least objectionable. Ummm…go Looch, go Rask????
