Ah, Summer Friday, how I love thee. I get half-days every Friday between Memorial and Labor Days, and this month Pookie is taking vacation to have Friday afternoons off, too. Today was our first joint Summer Friday, so we enjoyed a delicious Chinese takeout lunch, then went fabric shopping, then made our first foray to Uncle Ed’s ice cream parlor, the new Jann’s. After determining that our "OH MY GOD JANN’S IS GONE!" panic was unnecessary, because Uncle Ed’s serves the same ice cream, we calmed down with some milkshakes while playing MarioKart.
