3-2-1 Hockey: The Power Went Out This Evening And Even Though There Wasn’t Hockey On To Be Missing It Still Sucked Because A) The Power Was Out, B) We’d Left Off Halfway Through A Double Episode Of “Simon & Simon” And We Were Anxious To Find Out If AJ And Rick Would Survive The Big Flashback Sequence, C) After “Simon & Simon” We’d Planned To Watch More “Dr. Quinn” Which Is Surely Not As Good As Hockey But It’s Entirely Better Than Sitting Glumly In The Dark, and D) Is This Title Long Enough Yet, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreg?

Perhaps because it rained gently all day today, our power went out this evening. For two and a half hours. It was a miracle we survived on just a dinner of Artisanal cheeses eaten by candlelight.
