Along Schnookie’s walk to work in the wee hours of the morning, utility/construction markings on the grass on the side of the road. Aside from being up and at ‘em that early, it was another fantastic day in the ice cream factory. We had our summer-friday half-days, Chinese takeout for lunch, a leisurely afternoon of quilt projects and napping, then a Dr. Quinn marathon accompanied by homemade cookies, stitching, and snarky laughing. Summer Fridays are coming to an end soon, though, which is sad for the fact that we won’t be having such long, lazy starts to our weekends, but happy for the fact that, well, it means summer’s over.
