Despite it being nothing near to a grueling day for any of us, we all felt super-lazy this evening. That meant no to our planned, effort-requiring dinner (we ordered pizza), lots of sitting and playing Mario Galaxy immediately after getting out of work and/or jury duty, and minimal effort for our picture tonight. Thanks to the lensbaby, we could spice up our pumpkin Peeps photoshoot a little.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it. This season has been a HUGE renaissance for PR. I was thisclose to giving up on it entirely, and then suddenly this season blossomed, and now I’m completely hooked again. I’m LOVING it. (Also, I’m loving Zach/Travis/Chuckles as a line.)

(And yeah, I think the last couple of episodes were pretty devoid of Gretchen drama. You should keep an eye out for a season marathon of reruns or something, because The Gretchen Episode is some of the finest television I’ve ever seen. Just AMAZING. Heh heh.)

Now that I have a plethora of players I have actual emotional investments in (and also Tim Connolly), I’m rethinking the logic behind this. :P

Nope. You play in your assigned conference all season. The system was started as a challenge for all of us to learn more about the conference we don’t watch much of — think of it as an educational experience!
(And the players listed at multiple positions can start at any of them. It’s a good thing to have.)

Now that I’ve gotten rid of Joffrey Lupul and Sheldon Souray I’m feeling slightly better about my team. Captain Beefy and Loui Eriksson! And I’m thinking my defense and goaltending should be fairly good.

I can’t believe it, I am actually quite pleased with the draft. Datsyuk + Niemi/Turco in goal = lots of wins for the Bureau. I can only hope the Edmonton Oilers don’t infect Taylor Hall with their suckiness and somehow Jovanovski needs to be separated from the rest of the team but overall I am happy.

I like this new feature where you can compare your own players with those available. I was seeing Tyler Ennis’s 9 points and wondering why he’d be ranked higher than Ryan Malone, then I see that Ennis only played 10 games last season.
