I just got back from the Leafs/Sabres preseason game. Not only is Komisarek really pretty from 8 rows away, but so is Gaustad. Sheesh.
Oh and best quote/chant tonight was from the Leafs fans I walked by that started yelling “Leafs got a goal! Leafs got a goal!” Say what you will about Leafs fans, but they have a sense of humor.

Tonight, TWO dudes with foxy accents bought flowers from me. I’ve decided that every hunky young guy with a Central-Euroish accent is a Panther in training. Of course, it’s terribly sad for them that they’re going to end up playing in Sunshine Florida, where no one’s ever heard of hockey. I should comfort them. (The flowers, clearly, were for their moms. I just wish I knew what they were saying in Czech or Slovok or whatever. Was it “Holy shit, how does it take so fucking long to wrap this thing?” or was it “This chick is kind of cute. Do you think she likes hockey players?”)
